Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Program Coordinator and Business Development Executive to join our team. This role involves managing various programs, driving business growth, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation, and marketing skills, with experience in Salesforce, business development, and customer relationship management. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational success while developing professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee multiple programs, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company's market presence
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead negotiations to secure new contracts and renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
- Provide business plan guidance and mentorship to the new applicants
- Read, analyze and provide feedback on the business plans
- Coordinate with other advisors for the business plans
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively using project management tools
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with Alberta's startup ecosystem including incubators, accelerators, and business support organizations (e.g., Platform Calgary, Calgary Innovate, NACO, BNI chapters)
- Maintain and grow ESH's presence on LinkedIn and other professional platforms to build brand authority in the immigration and entrepreneurship space
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns that promote services and attract new clients
- Develop Ambassador and referral agreements with international recruitment partners and diaspora networks
- Utilize Zoho or similar CRM platforms to track leads, manage client data, and analyze sales pipelines
- Prepare reports on program performance and business development activities for senior management
- Represent ESH at various channels, local public representatives, conferences, immigration expos, university events, and community gatherings across Canada and internationally
- Develop and execute outreach strategies targeting high-potential applicant markets globally
- Collaborate with the Director on setting quarterly business development targets and tracking progress against them
Applicant Engagement & Conversion
- Conduct initial discovery calls and assessments with prospective applicants to evaluate FGES and other program eligibility
- Clearly articulate ESH's value proposition, program requirements, timelines, and fee structures to prospective clients
- Guide qualified prospects through the onboarding process in collaboration with the programme coordinator
- Provide ongoing relationship management with clients throughout their program journey to ensure satisfaction and referral generation
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor competitive landscape including other designated agencies and immigration consultancies
- Track updates to FGES, provincial entrepreneur streams, and federal business immigration pathways
- Provide market intelligence and applicant feedback to ESH leadership to inform program and service offerings
- Support development of marketing materials, webinars, social content, and case study narratives
Experience
- Proven experience in business planning, project management, business development, or a related role
- Strong background in negotiation, sales strategies, and client relationship management
- Familiarity with marketing principles and digital outreach methods
- Experience working with comparable CRM systems is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a similar industry or sector is advantageous but not mandatory
