Key Responsibilities
-
Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.

Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism

Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches

Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively

Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security

Escorting contractors, workers, and visitors safely within the facility, following all security protocols

Responding immediately to access-related issues, incidents, or emergencies, maintaining composure and authority
Required Qualifications

Minimum 12 months experience as a guard

Valid BC Security License
-
Physically capable of standing, walking, and working outdoors

Strong communication and report-writing skills
-
Legal eligibility to work in Canada
