Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and extensive experience in restaurant management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing the overall guest experience to uphold our reputation for excellence in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the food and beverage team to deliver outstanding service and quality standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
- Manage restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and POS system management (including Micros POS)
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Train, mentor, and interview staff to build a motivated and efficient team
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and service delivery
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, customer service, and guest satisfaction
- Monitor daily sales performance and implement strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments such as hotel or bar services to enhance overall guest experience
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership, including supervising teams and managing operations
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff through effective team management and interviewing skills
- Experience in food industry standards including food handling, serving, and kitchen operations
- Background in restaurant or hotel management; barista experience or bar management experience is a plus
- Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple departments while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, scheduling, and operational procedures
