Budtender (Part-Time)
We are opening a new store in Strathmore and we’re building a great team at Wheatland Cannabis! We are looking for part-time associates who want to be part of something local, welcoming, and community-driven!
This is more than just a retail job, you’re the face of the store. You’ll be helping customers feel comfortable, informed, and confident in what they’re purchasing.
If you enjoy talking to people, learning about cannabis, and being part of a team that takes pride in what they do, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, approachable way
- Help customers find products that fit their needs (and actually enjoy those conversations)
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system
- Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Support inventory counts, restocking, and merchandising
- Follow all cannabis regulations and store policies
- Work as part of a team to create a positive, easygoing store environment
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for people who are reliable, friendly, and genuinely enjoy working with others.You’re likely someone who:
- Has cannabis or customer service experience
- Is comfortable talking to people and making recommendations
- Has an interest in cannabis (or is eager to learn)
- Shows up on time and takes responsibility
- Works well in a team and keeps a positive attitude
- Can handle a fast-paced environment while staying organized
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- SellSafe Cannabis certification required (or willing to obtain before starting)
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends-this is a must!
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
- Retail experience is an asset
Compensation & Perks
- $15 – $17 per hour, depending on experience
