Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate between subcontractors, vendors, and clients. The Site Superintendent will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring adherence to project specifications and schematics.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites to ensure daily progress, safety and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Plan and manage the critical path of construction, aligning subcontractors and suppliers to meet project deadlines
- Enforce occupational health and safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and address hazards to maintain a secure environment
- Manage site logistics and ensure proper use of resources.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Read blueprints and schematics to verify work accuracy.
- Maintain daily logs, track project expenses, and material submittals
- Maintain detailed records of site activities and report progress to stakeholders.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures for projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in ICI Construction
- CET/ PEng/Skilled Trades (carpenter background) preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, blueprints reading, and schematics.
- Working at Heights, WHMIS, 5 Steps training preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Must have valid drivers license and ability to drive to project sites

Pay: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
