Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Take customer orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining high standards of service.
- Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and providing correct change.
- Engage with guests courteously, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and assist in training new staff when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety protocols is essential.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and inventory counts.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Hospitality experience or bartending background is desirable but not required; eagerness to learn is valued.
