Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, and troubleshooting complex machinery. This role requires a licensed professional capable of maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment across various manufacturing processes. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong analysis skills, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with schematics and industrial electrical systems. Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, and other machinery.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Repair mechanical components such as welding parts, boilers, HVAC systems, and other industrial machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS systems.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations; perform safety inspections regularly.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Millwright or Industrial Electrician within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in welding, boiler systems, HVAC, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting industrial machinery using analysis skills.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and electrical maintenance tools.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices in manufacturing settings.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation purposes.
