247 Gard Security is seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring the property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in security operations. This is a paid position that offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure workplace.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Enforce security protocols and access control procedures for employees and visitors
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices is advantageous
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious behavior
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for effective reporting and coordination

- Must be available from Friday -Monday
- Must have valid security guard license
