Segev LLP, a well-established law firm located in downtown Vancouver, is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team. With a minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, the ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and a proven track record in handling complex commercial litigation cases. Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- An 8+ year call.
- Significant experience in commercial litigation.
- Experience with class action lawsuits.
- Experience handling complex disputes, including contract disputes, shareholder and corporate disputes, business torts, employment-related disputes, and other commercial matters.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational and file-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A demonstrated commitment to client service, professional growth, and high-quality legal work.
- Dual qualification in British Columbia and Ontario is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead lawyer on commercial litigation files, providing comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Demonstrate proficiency and expertise in all aspects of commercial litigation, including but not limited to contract disputes, intellectual property matters, employment disputes, and corporate litigation.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all legal documentation and proceedings.
- Take ownership of assigned files, managing client needs and maintaining effective communication throughout the litigation process.
- Foster professional relationships with clients and colleagues, displaying integrity, respect, and commitment to providing exceptional legal services.
- Continuously develop legal skills and stay updated with relevant industry trends and changes.
- Align with the firm's values, and commitment to excellence in legal practice.
