We are currently looking for fitters and iron workers to join our crews at Rankin Inlet, NU.
Project details:
The installation of a CAT 3616 (C280) 4.4 MW generator.
Field install of the following systems:
- New Fuel piping to the generator
- Making some modifications to the existing fuel system
- New Air start piping to the generator
- Making some modifications to the existing compressed air system
- New engine cooling lines
- Relocating some existing mechanical equipment (Heat exchangers, cooling rads)
There will be work inside the power plant and work outside the power plant.
There will be work at ground level and elevated work on the radiator support structures.
From time to time, you will be asked to help with other trades when extra hands are needed.
The client wants to have the generator on-line by Nov 15th, 2026, but there will still be remaining tasks that will carry us to the end of the year.
The work is taking place at the power plant in Rankin Inlet, NU.
Adco is providing accommodations in Rankin; we currently have two 4 plexes and are trying to get a 3rd to rent and several hotel rooms reserved.
ADCO provides travel to and from Rankin, with hourly pay as well, to a maximum of 8hrs/day.
ADCO provides a Daily $100 LOA for buying your food.
3/1 rotation (with 7 full days off, not travel cutting into)
JM employee $46/hr + OT (anything over 8hrs/day and ALL wknd hrs)
Contractor $66/hr straight time.
