Quolus Construction is currently seeking:
Skilled Labourers with construction experience who will be performing a variety of duties on site. The right candidate should have a solid construction background, be comfortable handling multiple tasks, and possess at least one specialization. Positions may include specialized responsibilities such as OFA-2, TCP, basic machine operation, or concrete finishing, depending on the candidate’s experience.
Core Duties Include:
- Loading & Unloading: Material handling, allocation, and identification.
- Clean Up: Sweeping, shoveling, demolition, material organization, and general site coordination.
- Tool Use: Heavy tools, hand tools, ladders, power tools, and scaffolding.
- Machinery: Swamping, use of gas tools, tampers, spotting, pumps, and hoses.
- Groundwork: Grading, digging, leveling, and soil transport.
- Concrete: Preparation, mixing, placement, chipping, and drilling.
Specialty Duties (based on experience):
- Machine Operation: Operating scissor lifts and skid steers; performing routine inspections, basic maintenance, and reporting faults; maintaining full awareness of surroundings and site safety.
- Traffic Control (TCP): Directing traffic in accordance with plans, setting up and removing traffic control equipment, coordinating deliveries, and communicating clearly with public and site personnel.
- OFA-2 First Aid: Assessing injuries, administering first aid, completing documentation, referring cases for further treatment, and following safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of general labourer experience.
- Ability to commit to full-time employment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must own basic equipment (tool pouch & gloves) and have reliable transportation.
- Must own and maintain standard PPE.
