Duties
- Perform routine inspections of machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and building infrastructure to identify issues early.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using hand tools and power tools, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks based on scheduled plans to extend equipment lifespan and optimize performance.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, motors, pumps, valves, and other mechanical parts.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and safety documentation to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in emergency repairs or troubleshooting during operational hours to prevent disruptions.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and improve overall facility reliability.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, HVAC units, or similar equipment.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and measuring devices.
- Proficient with power tools for repair and installation tasks.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance challenges.
- Prior experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments is a plus.
