Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 310S Automotive Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various tools and schematics. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, perform complex repairs, and contribute to maintaining the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles. Prior dealership experience is highly valued, along with proficiency in welding, assembly, and maintenance tasks.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using advanced mechanical skills and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to identify necessary repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met before returning vehicles to customers
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly during repair processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience
- Prior dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant mechanic experience is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine repair procedures
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Familiarity with vehicle schematics and technical manuals is a plus
Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
