Thrive Clinical Counselling is a small and growing group practice in Kelowna, BC with a strong emphasis on creating a warm, welcoming space where both clients and clinicians can truly thrive. The practice is built on the belief that when clinicians feel supported, respected, and grounded in their work, clients benefit too.
We are currently seeking a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) to join Thrive in a part-time, hybrid role (15–20 client hours per week). This position is well-suited to a Master's-level clinician who values relational work, autonomy, and being part of a practice that prioritizes sustainability, care, and professional integrity over volume or pressure. We are especially looking for someone with a focus on couples, trauma, anxiety, and/or grief.
Position Details
Title: Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
Employment Type: Part-time
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor / Subcontractor
Hours: 15 client hours per week (3 x 5-hour in-person blocks, including at least 1 evening or weekend block), with the option to add 1 x 5-hour remote block per week (up to 20 hours/week total)
Compensation: Starts at $90
Work Model: Hybrid — 3 in-person blocks per week at our Landmark District office (including at least 1 evening or weekend block), with the option of an additional remote/virtual block

About the Practice
Thrive Clinical Counselling provides therapy services to adults, teens, and couples, supporting concerns including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, life transitions, depression, grief, interpersonal challenges, and trauma-related concerns. The practice takes a relational, trauma-informed approach grounded in warmth, authenticity, and self-compassion.

Required Qualifications
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing
Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
Eligible to practice independently in British Columbia
Experience providing therapy to couples, and working with trauma and anxiety
Comfortable offering both in-person and virtual counselling sessions
Professional liability insurance maintained independently by the clinician
