Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Roofing Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of roofing installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills in the construction industry.
Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials such as shingles, plywood, and metal sheets
- Prepare job sites by setting up safety barriers, and other necessary equipment
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools and construction is necessary, willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Knowledge of construction practices related to roofing is a plus
- Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation to the shop; valid driver’s license is beneficial but not required
- Early morning starts, some long days

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
