Responsibilities may include:
- Developing low-cost and no-cost marketing strategies.
- Assisting with social media marketing.

- Keep track of upcoming and outstanding payments.
- Professionally follow up with parents regarding overdue or pending payments.
- Help ensure that billing and payment communication remains organized and consistent.
Sales Commission
This role includes a performance-based sales incentive.
For every qualified lead personally generated by you that successfully converts into a paying student, you will receive:
10% of the student's first-month fees
PLUS
5% of the student's second-month fees
The more successful students you bring into Ceph’s Learning Hub, the greater your opportunity to earn through commissions.
Opportunity to Teach
This position can also develop into a teaching opportunity.
After approximately 3 months of working with Ceph’s Learning Hub, candidates who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, strong communication skills, and appropriate subject knowledge may be given the opportunity to teach selected students.
Teaching opportunities will depend on your education, experience, and subject knowledge.
For students assigned to you for teaching, you will generally receive approximately 25–30% of the student's monthly fees, depending on the subject, grade level, responsibilities, and teaching arrangement.
This means the position can gradually develop from sales, marketing, and administration into a combination of business development and teaching.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
- Sales and growth oriented.
- Comfortable communicating with parents and prospective clients.
- Confident sending professional emails and following up with leads.
- Creative about finding customers without depending on expensive advertising.
- Persistent and comfortable following up multiple times when appropriate.
- Organized and able to manage schedules, invoices, emails, and student information.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Able to take initiative rather than waiting for every task to be assigned.
- Professional and trustworthy when dealing with families and students.
- Interested in education and working with children and young people.
- Interested in entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, or business development.
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
- Potentially capable of teaching one or more academic subjects after the initial three-month period.
Experience in sales, marketing, business development, tutoring, education, social media, administration, or customer service is an asset.
Motivated college/university students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals who want practical business experience are also encouraged to apply.
What You Will Learn
This is not simply an administrative internship.
You will work closely with the founder and gain practical experience in:
- Business development

- Client acquisition
- Customer relationship management
- Email marketing and newsletters
- Student enrollment
- Scheduling and operations

- Teaching and tutoring opportunities
As the business grows, the right candidate may have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, teaching opportunities, and greater involvement in the growth of Ceph’s Learning Hub.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule.
The schedule will be created based on business needs and the candidate's availability. Some flexibility may be required because we work with students and families across different time zones in the United States and Canada.
