Summary
We are seeking a passionate Chef to bolster our team. We are looking for a team member to build with. Think freedom to create and build new programs. We have built this store from the ground up our own way, and we are currently seeking another key team member to build with.
Some core areas we would love to have to focus on will be leading the pastry and ice cream program (we just brought in a new machine to pump out our own line), while also getting a chance to learn whole animal butchery, and cook in our kitchen. We love to stack skills and our deli and meat department work very closely.

Some level of cooking experience is going to be required. We can teach you butchery and our systems, but you've got to come in with a strong food knowledge. We are looking for doers!

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cut meats according to quality standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all food safety protocols and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and new techniques.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in butchery or culinary preparation within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety standards.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in food handling or safety is a plus
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
