Job Title: Kitchen Team Lead
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the back of house manager
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
-Know all areas of the kitchen and how they operate cohesively with the other departments.
- Stock and rotate ingredients and supplies to ensure freshness and availability
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
-Following procedures and policies set out by the back of house manager and training of new employees to these standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required
-Mature individuals with prior work experience is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
