General Labourer – Road Maintenance Crew
Fine Line Markings Inc. is hiring General Labourers to join our travelling road maintenance crew for the remainder of the 2026 season.
Position term: Immediate start until approximately November 2026
Job type: Seasonal, full-time
Travel: Extensive travel throughout Ontario and other provinces may be required
Duties
- Assist with crack sealing, pavement marking and other road maintenance work
- Set up and remove traffic-control equipment
- Load, unload and organize tools and materials
- Operate small tools and equipment after training
- Perform general site cleanup and equipment maintenance
- Work safely around active roadways, vehicles and heavy equipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a crew
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods
- Must be available to work long hours, overtime, nights and weekends when required
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, walking and working outdoors for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team environment
- Comfortable working in changing weather conditions
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record are considered assets
- Previous construction, road maintenance or traffic-control experience is an asset, but training may be provided
