Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team, supporting children's development and well-being in a safe, engaging, nurturing environment. Strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a genuine passion for working with young children are what matter most.
We are additionally interested if you speak French and would enjoy leading French songs, stories, and play-based activities.
What we are looking for:
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE). Please include your registration number.
- Experience with toddlers and preschoolers; infant experience also welcomed.
- Warm, patient, reliable, positive attitude, and can work in a team with different personalities.
- Exercises good judgement and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Must have valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification, completed in person.
- We will ask for a vulnerable sector check (dated within 6 months) and medical clearance before starting employment.
Bonus:
- French speaking - to lead weekly programming for children 2.5 to 5 years.
- Mandarin or Cantonese speaking.
- Montessori training, with preference for AMI and MACTE training.
