Overview
We are looking for a full-time cook 40+ hrs per week Wed-Sun.Previous kitchen experience required. Even better if you have experience making pizza or cooking over wood fire. Must have great customer service as this is a food trailer and you will be serving the public. Pay is $21-22 /hr to start plus shared tips and meal. Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza according to established recipes and guidelines
- Cooking pizzas in a wood fired oven
- Serve food to customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of customers
- Assist with prep, including chopping vegetables, cooking proteins, and preparing garnishes
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages as necessary
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A passion for serving others and providing excellent customer service
