Sullivan Animal Hospital – Surrey,is seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our established, community-based practice in Surrey, British Columbia, within beautiful Metro Vancouver. Duties
- Examine animals to diagnose their health issues and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Perform surgeries, vaccinations, and other medical procedures as needed
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient recovery
- Conduct laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis, utilizing laboratory experience for accurate results
- Educate pet owners on health care, nutrition, and preventive measures
- Maintain detailed medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Full CVBC license or eligible for restricted licence
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
