Overview
As a Household Helper/Manager, you will play a key role in helping individuals & families maintain a tidy, peaceful, well-organized home environment by providing a customized approach to household management. Your duties will include providing personal concierge and household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal prep, cooking, and organizing, as well as providing support to children with their daily routines, activities, and playtime for certain households. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities vary by household and by day, but all entail some of the below responsibilities.
Household Management:
- Perform cleaning, laundry, and organizing tasks
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking
- Help with decluttering and maintaining an organized home
- Support with other various household to-do list items
Childcare Support (as required):
- Supervise and engage children in safe, age-appropriate activities
- Assist with homework and educational tasks
- Facilitate fun, creative playtime while maintaining a nurturing environment
Requirements
- Energetic, reliable, and trustworthy with a passion for helping people
- A background in childcare, cleaning, caregiving or related fields is a plus, demonstrating your commitment to supporting others.
- First Aid certification and/or Early Childhood Education training is an asset
- Skills in cooking and meal preparation
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to clean and maintain an orderly environment.
