Maintenance Assistant
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation and upkeep of our facilities. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including mechanical, painting, and basic plumbing tasks
- Inspect equipment, identify issues, and troubleshoot malfunctions
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment
- Repair or replace parts as required
- Work closely with team members to prioritize and complete maintenance requests
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Valid Class 5 license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,100.00-$3,500.00 per month
