Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregates safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
Duties
- Safely operate assigned trucks and vehicles to transport aggregates to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 52 – 58 per week
