Job Summary
The Gas Station Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the gas station, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining store standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with experience in retail management, sales, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including fuel sales, convenience store activities, and customer service.
- Lead and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service.
- Oversee merchandising and inventory to optimize store.
- Handle cash handling procedures and POS transactions
- Train and develop new team members
- Monitor store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or supervisory roles within a retail or gas station environment is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling and merchandising.
- Experience in training & development
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with good time management.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in retail or similar settings is preferred
