Maple Craft Inc. is a growing B2B wholesale distributor based in Calgary, Alberta. We are currently looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, organization, and efficiency in warehouse operations.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping preparation, and supporting communication between warehouse, sales, shipping, and administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order contents before shipment to ensure accuracy.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
Warehouse Operations
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Organize stock and maintain inventory using proper stock rotation practices.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate with sales, shipping, and administrative teams regarding order updates, product availability, and inventory concerns.
- Support timely and accurate order processing by coordinating with internal departments.
- Provide updates on incoming shipments and warehouse activities when required.
Shipping & Logistics
- Prepare outgoing shipments according to carrier requirements and company standards.
- Ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist with coordinating pickups and resolving shipment-related issues.
Health & Safety
- Follow company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
- Keep work areas, aisles, and storage locations clean and hazard-free.
- Report safety concerns promptly and contribute to a safe workplace.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, order picking, packing, shipping, or fulfillment experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely.
- Experience with inventory systems, barcode scanners, or warehouse software is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
