About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Geomatics Training Specialist to develop and deliver training programs for Leica Geosystems products and related geospatial technologies. This role focuses on creating and maintaining training materials, leading instructor-led and virtual sessions, and supporting the adoption of hardware, software, and workflow solutions for both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance training programs and materials for surveying, geomatics, positioning, and construction technologies, with a focus on Leica Geosystems and related solutions
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions, workshops, webinars, and demonstrations for internal staff, existing customers, and prospective clients.
- Assess training needs and tailor content to various skill levels and industry applications.
- Manage and maintain customer-facing digital support and training platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and product expertise to support customer success and adoption.
- Collaborate with sales, technical support, and product teams to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
- Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on participant feedback and industry developments.
- Support customer and employee onboarding initiatives and product implementation programs.
- Travel as required to customer sites, company locations, trade shows, and industry events.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary education in Geomatics, Surveying, Geospatial Sciences, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Experience & Technical Skills:
- Proven experience working with surveying, geomatics, geospatial, and construction technology equipment and software, including Leica Geosystems solutions and other leading industry platforms. Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience with: manual and robotic total stations technologies, GNSS real-time kinematic (RTK) systems and positioning technologies, surveying, construction layout and geospatial data collection workflows, Industry standard field and office software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple digital tools and platforms efficiently.
- Experience using customer support ticketing systems and monitoring the progression of AI-driven support tools to enhance service delivery and ensure a positive customer experience.

Travel Requirements

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
