Responsibilities:
- Assemble of build special purpose vehicles (SPV) according to specs and build sheets/instruction
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with SPV
- Maintain appropriate records (i.e. inspection sheets)
- Build/repair various mining component parts
- Repair/overhaul customer units
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
Qualifications:
- Must be able to test assembled parts, vehicles & products to ensure functionality.
- Experience with mining industry specific equipment (asset)
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems and their components with diagnostic problem-solving ability
- 310-S or 310-T Certificate considered a strong asset
- Lifting up to 50 pounds (assistance always available)
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and drive to achieve customer satisfaction
- Able to stand 90% of the time
- Ability to work overhead for prolonged periods
