Customer Service/Sales Representative
Position Summary
At OXYGEN Fitness Club, our Customer Service/Sales Representative are the first impression of our club. This role combines sales, customer service, fitness support, and daily club operations to deliver an outstanding experience for every member and guest.
You will be responsible for generating new memberships, managing leads from inquiry to enrollment, providing exceptional customer service, supporting member retention, maintaining club standards, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently every day.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Generation
- Generate new membership leads through community outreach, referrals, local businesses, social media, networking, and club promotions.
- Build relationships with individuals, families, businesses, and corporate clients.
- Promote all membership options, personal training, programs, and club services.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
Lead Management & Follow-Up
- Respond promptly to all phone, email, website, social media, and walk-in inquiries.
- Manage leads using the club CRM system.
- Follow up consistently with prospective members through calls, emails, and text messages.
- Schedule appointments, club tours, consultations, and trial visits.
- Convert inquiries into memberships through professional follow-up and relationship building.
Customer Service & Member Experience
- Welcome every member and guest with a positive, professional attitude.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and through email.
- Resolve member questions, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Build strong relationships that encourage long-term member retention.
- Ensure every interaction reflects the OXYGEN Fitness Club brand and values.
Fitness Orientation & Member Support
- Introduce new members to the club and available services.
- Provide equipment orientations and basic exercise guidance.
- Encourage healthy lifestyles and support members in reaching their fitness goals.
- Promote personal training and additional club programs when appropriate.
Front Desk & Club Administration
- Manage daily front desk operations.
- Process memberships, payments, renewals, freezes, cancellations, and account updates.
- Maintain accurate member records and documentation.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails professionally.
- Assist with scheduling and administrative duties.
Club Operations
- Ensure the club is clean, organized, safe, and presentation-ready at all times.
- Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance issues.
- Assist with housekeeping responsibilities throughout the facility.
- Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or fitness is an asset.
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English, French, Persian, Russian, more languages welcome
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, email, and Microsoft Suite, Google Drive/One and AI.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Compensation:
It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base wage of $17.50. This position is eligible for commissions in addition to the base salary. The expected annual range of total compensation is $10,000 - $50,400 determined by the expected total number of scheduled hours per year, performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
