We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Distribution Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring the seamless execution of wholesale and e-commerce operations while delivering the exceptional service expected from a luxury brand.
Job Description:
The Sales and Distribution Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the operational aspects of sales and distribution. This position involves handling EDI orders, entering purchase orders (POs) received from the sales team into our ERP system, managing incoming orders, and coordinating pick tickets. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, luxury-focused environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- EDI Order Management: Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Purchase Order Entry: Accurately enter POs from the sales team into the ERP system, maintaining meticulous records.
- Order Management: Oversee the management of incoming orders, ensuring they are processed promptly and accurately.
- Pick Ticket Coordination: Generate and manage pick tickets, working closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Support the maintenance of accurate inventory records and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Customer Communication: Act as a liaison for order-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales and distribution data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize order management processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales operations, order management, or a similar role within the luxury retail sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with RLM is a plus), EDI, Shopify, JOOR and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively across various departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,690.87 per year
