8 Month Term (until March 2027)
Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.
We are currently looking for a customer focused, energetic Concierge to join our team full-time for an 8-month term at 100 Frontier Path Private. This position would be Sunday to Thursday from 9am-5pm with the starting wage being $19-$20/hour.
What you will do:
- Greet building tenants and guests;
- Attend to tenant and guest inquiries in a professional manner (ie: order taxis, open front door, assist with packages, etc.);
- Coordinate guest suites and common room bookings;
- Ensure entrance parking area and driveway are maintained (no unauthorized parking);
- Maintain a neat and tidy working area, including main lobby and exterior entrances (entrance glass cleaning, litter pick up around immediate lobby areas, etc.);
- Ensure lobby/entrance/common rooms are kept clean & tidy;
- Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- Well-developed customer service skills;
- Excellent oral communication skills;
- Able to work as part of a team and independently;
- Positive, honest, and motivated;
- Previous concierge experience is considered an asset.
