Le Petit Salon is seeking a talented, experienced, and personable Hair Stylist to join our growing team in Ottawa. We are a boutique salon known for our elevated client experience, attention to detail, and modern, welcoming atmosphere.
This is an exciting opportunity for a stylist who is confident behind the chair, passionate about their craft, and focused on building strong, lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client
- Provide exceptional customer service through thoughtful consultations and expert recommendations
- Build and maintain a loyal clientele through personalized service and follow-up
- Recommend and upsell retail products to support clients’ at-home hair care routines
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a professional hair stylist in a salon setting
- Existing clientele is considered a strong asset
- Strong consultation skills and a client-first mindset
- Confidence in cutting, colouring, and modern styling techniques
- Ability to build genuine client relationships and deliver a high-end experience
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Retail or front desk experience is a bonus, but not required
Compensation:
- Commission-based structure ranging from 45%–55%, based on experience and clientele

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- Ottawa, ON K2P 1N1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Hair Styling: 3 years (preferred)
