We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our Winnipeg office for the following position
Title: Project Coordinator
The project Coordinator is responsible for assisting on Tower’s projects, gathering information on the projects and writing reports for investors. They are responsible for quality inspection and controlling the budget.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the project team with overall project performance including cost, schedule, safety and quality.
- Assists in construction coordination, planning and identifying potential risks and resolving field technical issues.
- Ability to work in the field and office.
- Develops and maintains excellent relationships with our trade partners and stake holders, defining scopes of work, answering inquiries and monitoring progress.
- Assists with management and change order process, including pricing, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact.
- Assists with overall project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance, and warranty.
- Provide monthly reports on projects
- Identifies and assists in resolving field technical issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Relevant education in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of construction industry experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Sage software is preferred
- A valid Manitoba driver’s license and a personal vehicle is required
- Knowledge of construction industry including equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, quality, safety, construction sequences and building code.
- Ability to apply basic engineering and problem-solving principles to construction challenges and present solutions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
