Friends General Contracting Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Construction Designer / Landscape Design Assistant to assist with residential and commercial design projects throughout the Niagara Region and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape and construction design concepts
- Create or modify basic sketches, renderings, and layouts
- Assist with measurements and site visits
- Support project planning and material selection
- Work alongside project managers and site crews
- Assist with client presentations and design revisions
- Help organize project files, drawings, and specifications
- Assist with social media content, project photography, and portfolio development
- Research products, finishes, and design ideas
- Learn construction methods and real-world project execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from:
- Landscape Design
- Architectural Technology
- Interior Design
- Construction Engineering Technician
- Construction Management
- Civil Engineering Technology
- Familiarity with:
- SketchUp
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Canva
- Lumion
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Other design software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Valid driver’s license considered an asset
