As Sales Manager, you'll lead a remote sales team while partnering closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, and E-Commerce to drive commercial growth.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coach, mentor, and develop Account Executives through regular one-on-one coaching
- Establish clear KPIs, OKRs, and performance expectations
- Conduct performance reviews and create development plans
- Improve onboarding, ramp-up, and ongoing training programs
- Recruit, interview, and hire top sales talent
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Improve conversion rates, quote follow-up, customer retention, and account expansion
- Monitor pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance metrics
- Identify growth opportunities across customers, partners, and channels
- Lead weekly sales meetings focused on coaching, insights, and execution
- Optimize CRM adoption and sales workflows
- Develop SOPs, playbooks, dashboards, and sales enablement resources
- Improve quoting, reporting, follow-up processes, and customer handoffs
- Use AI and automation to increase productivity and reduce manual work
- Lead process improvement initiatives from planning through implementation
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing, and E-Commerce
- Support retailer, distributor, marketplace, and channel partner growth
- Share customer insights that improve campaigns, products, pricing, and customer experience
- Help strengthen our B2B self-service and digital buying experience
We're looking for an experienced sales leader who combines strong people leadership with commercial thinking and operational excellence.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years leading B2B sales teams
- 5+ years managing remote or inside sales teams
- Proven success growing revenue and improving sales performance
- Experience using KPIs, CRM reporting, forecasting, and dashboards to drive results
- Strong coaching, performance management, and employee development skills
- Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing sales professionals
- Experience supporting distributors, retailers, marketplaces, or channel partners
- Background in e-commerce, industrial distribution, building materials, construction products, contractor supply, or similar industries is an asset
- Experience with customer portals, B2B self-service platforms, or digital sales environments
- Practical experience using AI and automation tools to improve productivity
- Strong business acumen with excellent communication and collaboration skills
