We are currently looking for a hardworking, collaborative, and positive individual to join our team as an Upfit Technician at our Langley facility.
At Work Truck West we take pride in building high-quality, customized truck solutions in a supportive and excellent work environment.
As a valued member of our team you will be responsible for installing:
· Service Truck Bodies & Cranes
· Underhood Compressors, Multi-Function Units, and Welders
· Electrical components such as inverters, lights, pumps, and heaters
· Hydraulic components
· Dump Boxes & Flat Decks
· Snowplows & Spreaders
· Various medium-duty truck chassis accessories
This role is a great fit if you have:
· A positive, enthusiastic, and strong work ethic
· 5+ years of experience in a related field (automotive, RV, heavy-duty, millwright, or industrial maintenance). Red Seal Certification required.
· Your own set of mechanics tools
· Strong attention to detail and communication skills
· A valid BC driver’s license
· Welding/fabrication experience (an asset, not required)
This position is full-time and permanent and starts ASAP.
Work hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Wage: $30-$45 per hour based on experience.
