Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, card, and digital payments
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide product information and conduct product demos when needed to enhance customer understanding
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
- Upsell relevant products or services to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, directing calls appropriately and providing excellent phone etiquette
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; technical sales experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and upsell effectively to enhance sales performance
