We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Used Car Sales Consultant & Finance Manager to join our automotive dealership team. This role combines expert sales techniques with financial acumen to assist customers in purchasing quality used vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. - Engage and qualify walk-in, phone, online, and referral customers
- Present vehicles and features clearly and professionally
- Generate and follow up on leads daily (CRM, calls, texts, emails, social media)
- Do the credit applications and required documentation
- Upsell Warranty products and services
- Maintain strong product knowledge of inventory
- Deliver a smooth, professional experience to drive 5-star reviews, referrals, and repeat business
Qualifications
- Valid OMVIC License (required)
- Minimum 3 year automotive sales & FINANCE experience (required)
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with CRM systems
- Proficient with phone, email, text, and social media lead generation
- Multilingual skills are an asset
- Valid driver’s license A Must
Lender Relations & Compliance:
- Submit credit applications to financial institutions and manage the approval process.
- Maintain strong working relationships with various lending partners.
- Ensure all transactions comply with provincial and federal laws, regulations, and dealership policies.
- Deal Finalization:
- Complete and process all necessary documentation accurately and efficiently to finalize vehicle sales.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure a smooth transition from sales floor to the Business Office.

- Proven Sales Excellence: A minimum of 2+ years as a high-performing Sales Consultant, ideally within the automotive industry. (We want the best of the best!)
- Expert Negotiator: Exceptional persuasive and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals and achieving targets.
- Financial Acumen: A keen understanding of sales profitability and the ability to confidently discuss complex financial terms and products.
- Impeccable Ethics: Demonstrated commitment to honesty, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: The ability to present financial options clearly, confidently, and with enthusiasm to diverse customers.
- Licensing: Must possess or be willing to immediately obtain the required OMVIC and/or F&I licensing/certifications (we will support the right candidate).
Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or dealership environments with a focus on used car sales.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals effectively.
- Experience in B2C sales and developing strategic partnerships within the automotive industry.
- Multilingual capabilities, especially bilingual proficiency in Spanish, to serve a diverse customer base.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently from prospecting through closing.
- Expertise in high-end sales techniques and upselling strategies to maximize profitability.
- Demonstrated success in sales management or leadership roles within a dealership setting is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with strong communication abilities across various channels including phone and face-to-face interactions.
- Knowledge of marketing principles related to automotive retailing and effective organizational skills for managing multiple clients simultaneously.
