Position Summary
The Senior HR Talent Hunter is responsible for identifying, attracting, engaging, and securing top-tier talent for an EPCM organization. This role requires a highly experienced recruitment professional with a deep understanding of the engineering, procurement, construction, and project management sectors. The successful candidate will proactively source specialized technical and leadership talent while partnering closely with business leaders to support current and future workforce requirements.
This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the successful candidate's availability, experience, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic talent acquisition plans aligned with business growth and project staffing requirements.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, operational, and corporate positions across engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, HSE, quality, commissioning, and corporate functions.
- Proactively identify and headhunt passive candidates using professional networks, industry contacts, market intelligence, and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified professionals for current and future project needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment strategies, role requirements, and selection criteria.
- Develop and maintain relationships with engineering professionals, industry associations, universities, recruitment partners, and executive search networks.
- Monitor labor market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring activities within the EPCM industry.
- Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and prepare reports on sourcing effectiveness, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
- Support workforce planning initiatives and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including extensive experience recruiting within the EPCM, engineering, mining, oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or industrial construction sectors.
- Demonstrated success recruiting highly specialized engineering and project personnel.
- Strong understanding of EPCM organizational structures, project lifecycles, and technical disciplines.
- Experience recruiting for international projects and multicultural environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern talent sourcing tools.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
