The ideal candidate is an experienced industrial controls leader with a strong technical background in automation, electrical control systems, and project delivery. You are a collaborative leader who enjoys working alongside others and building strong relationships across multiple trades, disciplines, and customer teams. You have a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing technical teams while managing projects from estimating through commissioning. You are confident providing technical guidance, making sound decisions, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Above all, you lead by example, support those around you, and are committed to delivering exceptional results for both your team and your customers.
Our Must Haves

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Systems Design, or a related discipline;

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in industrial controls, automation, or electrical engineering;

Previous experience in a formal people management role leading, coaching, and developing engineering or technical teams of three (3) or more employees;

Strong experience estimating industrial controls and automation projects;
-
Extensive knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron), HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial networking, and electrical control systems;

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software;

Experience supporting FAT, SAT, startup, and commissioning activities;

Strong communication, leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills;

Experience in manufacturing, food processing, forestry, mining, utilities, or industrial processing environments is considered an asset.
