We are looking for an experienced and efficient Drywall Installer to join our crew. This position is strictly focused on boarding—primarily installing interior drywall and exterior DensGlass on commercial sites.
(Note: This is a boarding-focused role; extensive taping and finishing experience is not required, though general knowledge is an asset.)
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and fit: Accurately measure and cut drywall and DensGlass panels to fit around doors, windows, electrical outlets, and HVAC infrastructure.
- Hang and secure: Fasten panels to metal studs using screws, adhesive, or other approved methods, ensuring all sheets are plumb, level, and securely anchored.
- Install exterior sheathing: Handle and install DensGlass exterior panels, ensuring tight joints and proper alignment according to weatherproofing standards.
- Maintain site safety: Follow all safety protocols, especially when working on scaffolding, scissor lifts, or using power tools.
- Material management: Help stage materials efficiently across the job site to maximize daily production.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience exclusively in drywall and DensGlass boarding.
- Tools: Must have your own basic boarding hand tools (pouch, tape measure, T-square, utility knife, snips, etc.) and reliable transportation to site.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, maneuver, and hold 50+ lbs (standard 4x8 to 4x12 sheets) continuously throughout the shift.
- Metal Stud Experience: Familiarity with fastening to heavy-gauge steel framing.
- Certifications: Fall Protection and any certifications are an asset.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working at a fast, production-level pace without sacrificing quality.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
