About the Role
Home Care Supply is looking for a reliable full-time Delivery Driver to handle local parcel deliveries in the Vaughan area. You'll load, route, and deliver packages safely and on time while providing friendly service at every stop.
Responsibilities
- Load and organize parcels for daily delivery routes
- Deliver packages safely and on schedule to homes and businesses
- Obtain signatures/proof of delivery and update delivery status
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean
- Communicate delays or issues with dispatch promptly
- Provide courteous, professional customer service
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence with clean driving record (abstract required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable using a smartphone/handheld scanner for deliveries
- Strong time management and knowledge of local routes an asset
- Previous delivery/courier experience preferred but not required
- Must pass a background check
