Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion and Technical Designer . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual arts, graphic design, and digital tools, with a passion for developing cutting-edge fashion concepts. This role involves translating conceptual ideas into compelling designs that align with current trends and brand identity, utilizing advanced design software and techniques.
Duties
- Develop original fashion concepts and collections through sketches, mood boards, and digital illustrations.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create detailed design layouts and presentations.
- Incorporate motion graphics and 3D animation using Adobe After Effects, Maya, or SketchUp to visualize designs in dynamic formats.
- Apply principles of typography, visual design, and CAD to enhance garment presentation and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing and meet quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, fabric innovations, and emerging technologies such as HTML and CSS for digital fashion presentations.
- Participate in fitting sessions, provide feedback on prototypes, and refine designs accordingly.
- Contribute to branding efforts through visual arts painting, sketching, and construction painting to create cohesive collections.
Experience
- Proven experience in fashion design with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design projects.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Experience with 3D modeling tools such as Maya or SketchUp is preferred.
- Knowledge of typography, visual arts painting, CAD software, and construction painting techniques.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus for digital presentation purposes.
- Background in fashion design combined with skills in graphic arts or visual arts painting is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working with motion graphics or 2D/3D animation enhances candidacy.
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
