Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring food quality and safety. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers, take orders, and serve food in a friendly and efficient manner
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle cash with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Support team members in various roles as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food handling techniques is a plus
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and professionalism
