POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Quality, Quality Control Supervisor will assist in overseeing day-to day activities related to QA techs in the plant, developing and maintaining the Quality Management System to support the organization’s business operations and manufacturing process. The Quality Control Supervisor will work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment and be able to adapt to changing business needs while performing a variety of tasks.

JOB DUTIES
- Champion of troubleshooting and investigations related to quality deviations on the floor
- Overseeing daily tasks and priorities based on the operations needs and each members roles
- Establish standard work for QC members based on the operations and business needs
- Report quality control performance metrics on weekly and monthly basis to management
- Develop, support, and implement quality improvement plans in operations
- Maintain and create quality control plans
- Identify deficiencies and propose ideas for improvement of the project/product/process
- Collaborate with Director of Quality and management team to provide project and action items updates from the QC team.
- Effectively communicate and support departments visions, goals, and objectives and translate into practical actions.
- Assure that Quality boards are updated and available to team members
- Oversee monthly safety talks and assure that QC members follows the safety policies and procedures.
- Assure that escalation process is followed when dealing with Quality issues in production
- Maintain, train and support quality programs associated with quality control in operations
- Develop strategic performance metrics and targets that are consistent with company goals
- Oversee project management related to process control to ensure effective milestone planning and timely completion of deliverables
- Cultivates an environment of effective communication and comradery, every member of the team can confidently execute their role
- Oversee staff to ensure work is being performed according to established standards
- Plan the quality control team workload and flow
- Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
- Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental supervisor to improve overall company safety and product quality
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and formal evaluations
- Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and delegating work accordingly
- Oversee compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time deliver
- Oversee all manufacturing and processing procedures, the setting of machine or equipment controls, as well as the production and inspection processes
- Proper escalation process for all major quality concerns
- Apply total quality management tools to analytical and reporting processes to analyze procedures, inspections, techniques, equipment and implement changes to improve processes
- Identify and resolve problems, completing audits, determining system improvements, and implementing change
- Manage internal/external audit processes
- Coordinate cross functional problem solving and continuous improvement teams and activities
- Collaborate with other departments to establish and maintain the ISO quality systems
- Oversee We Care program and communication of results internally and interdepartmental to access the customer needs and continuous improvements opportunities in operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Control and Standardization
- Supervision of other department team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
