Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records with accuracy using dental software oryx documenting procedures and updates efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist, greeting patients and scheduling appointments with professionalism
- Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and explaining procedures in an age-appropriate manner
- Maintain infection control standards by following strict sterilization protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting or related roles, with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as oryx for record keeping and scheduling.
- Basic understanding of orthodontics principles to assist with specialized treatments when needed
- Knowledge of pediatrics to effectively communicate with young patients and their families
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide outstanding patient care

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
