Bread Baker – Join Our Artisanal Bakery Team!
Are you passionate about real sourdough and traditional baking techniques? We’re looking for an experienced Bread Baker to join our dedicated team and help craft our signature breads with care and consistency.
About the Role:
As a Bread Baker, you'll be involved in the daily production of 600–800 kg of dough, working alongside a passionate team of bakers. Reporting to the Head Baker and Sous Chef – Bread, you’ll play an essential role in producing high-quality bread that reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and flavor.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Follow established recipes and procedures to maintain consistency and quality
- Mix, shape, and bake a variety of sourdough-based breads
- Work efficiently in a high-volume production environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily operations
- Complete daily checklists and cleaning duties
- Help manage stock of perishable ingredients to minimize waste
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including mixers, benches, and ovens
Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience with sourdough – from mixing to shaping to baking
- Genuine passion for baking and high-quality food
- Self-motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen
- Detail-oriented, clean, and organized
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Good with numbers and measurements
- A team player with integrity and a commitment to our bakery’s success
Experience & Qualifications:
- Trade qualifications in baking (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on baking experience
- Experience in the hospitality or food production industry (2+ years)

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
