TRUCK DRIVER (Class 5 Moving, 1A Peddle Line and 5 Ton City Freight Driver)
LOCATION: PRINCE ALBERT, SK
JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is a subsidiary of The Mullen Group and is one of the largest household moving, storage and freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province, and as an agent for Atlas Van Lines, we offer local and long-distance moving services.
Responsibilities:
· Pick-up and deliver household goods or freight within city and surrounding areas in a timely and professional manner
· Ensure all goods are properly packed and protected
· Ensure that vehicles are loaded properly for transportation
· Regular lifting and moving of freight when delivering
· Fill out all necessary paperwork
· Perform and document pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
· Adhere to all company safety policies
Qualifications:
· Valid Class 5 or 1A driver’s license and acceptable commercial driver’s abstract
· Good work attitude and willing to learn
· Good customer service skills
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
