We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash register and process payments (cash, debit, credit)
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store, counters, and surrounding areas
- Restock shelves and monitor inventory levels
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
Job Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and basic problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable handling cash transactions and using POS systems
- Basic math skills for transactions and cash handling
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexible availability (weekdays, weekends, and holidays)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred (not required):
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Experience in a gas station or convenience store environment
- Familiarity with stocking and basic store operations
